Dr. Lina Koryllou

Dr. Lina Koryllou was born in Athens.

He studied at the Biology department of the University of Patras, majoring in “Genetics, Cellular-Molecular Biology and Physiology”.

She then prepared her Doctoral Thesis at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology – RNA Maturation, at the Institute of Biological Research and Biotechnology, of the National Research Foundation, in collaboration with the School of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens within the framework of the PENED 2003 Program. The subject of the thesis was “Study of the mechanism of cell death induced by methylating agents” and “Excellent” grade 10.

Experience

He has published in scientific journals and has attended and participated with scientific announcements in conferences inside and outside Greece, while he received a participation scholarship for the 38th annual meeting of the European Environmental Mutagen Society in Croatia in 2008.

He has worked as a member of a scientific team at a physical health center and from 2015 until today he is a permanent scientific collaborator of Dr. Eleftheri Georgakopoulos at the Center for Applied Functional Genomics.
